Dutch Film and TV fixer services
On-the-Ground Support for News, Documentary, and Investigative Reporting
Journalistic work fails not because of weak reporting, but because access collapses, sources disappear, permissions stall, or local conditions shift faster than editorial timelines allow. In high‑pressure reporting environments, especially across borders, practical obstacles can quickly become editorial risks.
We provide fixing and field production services for journalists, documentary teams, and investigative reporters, supporting newsrooms and independent producers working in the Netherlands and wider Europe. Our role is to secure access, manage local realities, and allow journalists to focus on reporting accurately, safely, and independently.
Based in Rotterdam, we operate discreetly and in accordance with journalistic ethics, editorial independence, and duty-of-care standards.
Experienced team
We are a seasoned team. Some of us have worked in TV News for many years, some of us are writing journalists. We published books, blogs, newspaper articles, made documentaries and travelled the world, especially the Middle East. We are fluent in English and we have an extensive network. Not only in government and politics, but in entertainment and business as well.
What a Journalism Fixer Does
A journalism fixer is neither a spokesperson nor an intermediary who shapes editorial outcomes. Our responsibility is to enable reporting, not influence it.
We are engaged to:
• Secure access to locations, institutions and individuals
• Facilitate introductions without compromising editorial independence
• Navigate bureaucratic, legal and cultural barriers
• Assess local risk and duty-of-care considerations
• Resolve logistical or access problems under deadline pressure
Our work supports the journalist’s mandate: accuracy, accountability, and independence.
